An important area of focus for the division is university teaching. Clinical examination courses are held regularly on the ward, and the division is an integral part of the medical school curriculum. In the medical curriculum, pulmonology is covered in Compulsory Module XII (Fundamentals of Internal Medicine I), in the Compulsory Track Symptoms and Differential Diagnoses III, as well as in the Clinical Practical Year (KPJ), in clinical rotations, in elective courses, in Special Study Modules (SSMs), and in Special Research Modules (SFM). In the dental medicine curriculum, pulmonology is covered in the required module ZPM X (Internal Medicine).
